Creative Suite CS 5 Upgrade Error message

IO want to upgrade camera raw for my CS5 Creative Suite but continue to get the following error message for camera raw and all other software. Is there a fix, what's causing the error?

At some point in the past (I don't know the exact date) Adobe "merged" the original update manager into the Cloud update manager, which means you are no longer using your original update manager

I have read some messages that the latest (Cloud) updater sometimes doesn't work with old programs... Try installing your updates manually

Updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Hi Jeff,

It's same message a before with any CS5 upgrades I try to install. I tried both updater and individual manual downloading and I get the same error message.

I'm running OS X 10.7.5.

David it is odd that you are still receiving a download error after downloading the update locally from Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh.

I would recommend reviewing the installation logs to determine what else is preventing the update from applying.  You can find detail on how to find the installation logs at Troubleshoot install issues with log files in Adobe Creative Suite (CS6, CS5.5, CS5), PS Elements, a... .  Please post the new errors you discover to this discussion.
