CS2 install problem...

Guest

Hello,

Due to a HDD crash, I was forced to re-install Acrobat Pro 7.0, and I downloaded the special online version as instructed, but when I put in the s/n that was with the download, it said it wasn't valid.  I have double checked the s/n off the Adobe website, and still says it isn't valid.

Please help!

Steve

Yes, thank you.  I did that, used the s/n associated with the special download, but why does it still say that it is an invalid s/n?

CS 2 is now end of life/support, we have limited resources for the same. Please tell us which OS version you have, as it might not be compatible with the OS version that you are using.

I am using Win7-32. The original boxed version installed just fine under the fresh OS install previously, using the s/n from the box, maybe 2 years ago.

So now the s/n from the box and from the special download won't work.

You need to use the serial number mentioned on the website along with download links . only those CS 2 serial numbers will work.

It will activate.

And hence my problem :I did use the s/n mentioned on the website along with the link, and it still says invalid. I even double checked I typed the number in correctly, and it was accurate. I carefully made sure I used the s/n corresponding to Acrobat Pro 7.
