I had an activation problem with CS5.5 Design Premium and as part of the instructions to remedy this I downloaded it again from the link provided it is now working as a trial version. Can I de-activate it, un-install it completely and install again from my original disk then re-activate it or is there are better way around this please? It will not let me activate the trial using my activation code and I would appreciate advice on this
Louise,
Are you using the same adobe id (email) as you had when you installed the software? Did you register the software?

Louise,
Once you load the trial software, you need to enter a serial number to activate it.
Here is some information on activation that may help you: Activate or deactivate an Adobe product
Where did you purchase the software? Were you given a redemption code or a serial number?
For more information on locating or registering serial numbers, please see this link: Find a serial number.

HI Pattie
Thank you for your reply. Here's the whole story
I have a legal copy we purchased about 3 years ago and it had been working fine no problems at all
It suddenly stopped working for no reason and required activation which could not be done. I contacted Adobe on their chat help and they told me to download a new copy which I did but it only recognises this as a trial. When this didn't work another help assistant told me the fix is actually to change the date on my computer to PST which allowed me to activate it then change it back again. All good now it is working on the trial version but it will not let me enter the serial number off my legal copy and the trial is running out. Any ideas would be appreciated
I have the disk and the serial no etc so no problem there if I need to un-install and re-install it
