I own CS6. I bought a new MacBook Pro with Sierra. I could not install the serial number version so I installed the TRIAL version. It was complicated but I think it installed.

How do I change my trial download to add my serial number to register it?

I own

CS6 Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Premium, which is an upgrade from

CS4 Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium

Both serial numbers are on the adobe website.

Thanks, Etana

So in the end. I found a LIVE CHAT, and believe it or not, I got a fantastic Adobe IT Rep who installed my Trial version and reinstalled the correct CS6 with serial number. I think the problem may have been that I needed to choose / install CS4 first and then update to CS6 which I didn't want to do.

I don't think I could change the Trial to the registered version without IT help.

When I went to choose in drop down menu this, it was not in the list of versions.

Not sure why.

I think you press F1 to go to the Help screen... but I'm not 100% sure, since I entered my (Windows) serial number during install

ETANA_F,

as per Activate and deactivate Adobe products :

To activate your software manually:

  1. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
  2. Launch the application.
  3. Choose Help > Activate. (If this option is dimmed, you have already activated your software.)
  4. Sign in with your Adobe ID and password to activate your software.
If you don’t have an Adobe ID, you see an option to create one. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Hope this helps

Kind Regards,
Maurice

But I am good. My software is installed on my MacBook Pro Sierra, and I should be good for another few years. Maybe by then Adobe will have some software for us retired casual artists who can't spend $600+ per year for subscription software.
