I buy and resell on Ebay. I came across two brand new Adobe CS6 Windows Software. Sealed, never opened! I didn't think much about it and listed them for sale. I started the auction off at $99 and it was getting a lot of attention! An interested buyer messaged me about transferring the license to them. I started to do some research and realized this might not be something easy to sell. I am assuming they were never registered since the serial numbers are secured in the sealed package. I ended the auction early in fear that someone might scam me or not be able to use the software properly. I spoke to Adobe about registering the product and then transferring to someone else. This was their response:
"No you will not be able to transfer the perpetual product. Only if you use your current account then it can be activated on 2 PC and be worked on 1 at a time."
I'm so confused! Can someone tell me the best way to proceed? Also, does anyone have any idea on the value of the InDesign CS6 and the Dreamweaver CS6. They are both full versions for Windows. Thanks in advance!

Also, can I register the license to do a transfer without installing the product? Forgive me, I'm not big on technology and I'm uncertain as to how all this works! We are good sellers and we do not want to jeopardize our Ebay account in anyway or piss any buyers off!

With sealed boxes I do not **think** you have anything to transfer, that is only for a USED program
Transfer (selling or giving your software away) https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/transfer-product-license.html
-you may NOT sell or transfer an Education serial number
Chat support is not going to be able to help, since CS6 is from 2012 and no longer supported
** I don't work for Adobe, but I read a LOT of messages... but I think you should not open the boxes

You could be putting yourself at risk for selling pirated software, either knowingly or unknowingly. Either way, selling pirated goods is illegal.
Creative Suite is not legally sold by ANY vendor, retailer or in any country. All sales were stopped by Adobe in early 2017.
Sealed boxes are no indication of authenticity. Most fake software looks just like the real thing until you install it. Too often fake software contains bogus serial numbers or worse -- malware, spyware or ransomeware that can put users and their equipment at risk. Stay away from this. It's pure poison.
If you want to legally sell Adobe software, you must become an authorized retail distributor (partner) and sell only genuine subscription-based products.
