CS6 not genuine software?

Hello. This morning I get a message saying that Adobe has identifed my Photoshop CS6 as not genuine Adobe software. It might be old but it is most certainly genuine.
What is this about?  Is it true that my software will stop working in 9 days time?

Is it no longer possibe to activate CS6?

CS6 may still be activated... where did you purchase?

At one time Adobe did not do a very good job of keeping track of OEM and volume licenses... they have, over the past year, started to work on tracking down licenses that should have never been sold to individuals. If you did not buy from Adobe or a valid dealer (such as direct from Amazon but NOT from someone using Amazon as their store front) you may have inadvertently purchased a serial number that you should not have

I actually bought the software from a very reputable dealer, I still buy from them and will contact them on Monday, guess they had an employee who knew how to play the sytem.
I've rather been waitng for Microsoft to sink CS6 with one of their updates, guess it is time to move on, got my eye on the 'Photography' package. Maybe my software firm will give me something towards the cost, as an apology?
