CS6 Update fails

Trying to update CS6 using Adobe Application Manager. Tried several times, always fails with "update is not applicable", error code U44M1P28. Running win7-64.

Any suggestions?

Hi Mir_aculix,

If you have perpetual license , you may try this:

What Adobe software do you have installed? The U44M1P28 error indicates the base product is not installed.

You might try downloading the updates directly from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

If you Creative cloud subscription, then you can try this:

Run the cleaner tool to uninstall http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

You can download the CC App from www.creative.adobe.com  & then reinstall the product. It will be updated, next time onwards you can update from here.

I am not a cloud subscriber. Originally, I had CS5 installed on my PC and earlier this year I upgraded to CS6. Following your suggestion, I downloaded the update, ran it, but failed, this time with U44M2P28.

Any other suggestion?
