Does encore come with the free trial of premier pro?

I recently downloaded the free trial of PR. I noticed that encore didn't come with this trial, but media composer did. Is this normal?

Hi johnt757,

Yes, this is completely normal. you cannot use Encore till you activate the product. Also, Encore has been discontinued after CS6 release but you can still use Encore CS6 with any existing subscription of Premiere Pro.

Oh wow! Does this mean you won't have any dvd authoring ability unless you already have CS6?

Hi Johnt757,

You do not have to purchase CS6 as a standalone if you subscribe for Creative Cloud. Once you are subscribed you can use Premiere Pro CC 2014 latest version and can download CS6 as well to use Encore for authoring DVD's.
