download version of photoshop and premiere elements asking for 6 digit serial number

Hi I have an existing adobe ID. I purchased photoshop and elements 15. I logged in and under manage account I downloaded both. When I try to install them, I am asked for a 6 digit serial number. I was emailed a 24 number serial number that doesn't fit.  I tried to find a redemption code in an email but wasn't given one. How do I get past this step and find the correct code?

I suspect you're faced with 6 empty boxes on screen.

Enter your 24 digit serial number in 6 groups of 4. So first 4 digits in the first box, 2nd group of 4 in the next box and so on.
