Error code 183 when installing Adobe Premier Elements and Photoshop 2022

Can anyone help....

I have a new computer and continue to get the Errorcode 183, hvem installing on the new labtop.

Its Premiere Elements 2022 and Photoshop Elements 2022.

I now got a message that there were an error in MSVCP120.dll.....?

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

Sorry, I have now repaired the MS Visal C++, but I still get the Error code 183. It's quite frustation 🙂

I have uninstalled the AntiVirus programme (for now)

that wasn't necessary. suspending would have been enough.

anyway, removing will eliminate av interference.  can you install now?

Eager_charm, did you encounter any errors or questions about any of the solutions referenced by Kglad? You stated you reinstalled the Visual C++ Redistributables and have now removed the installed security software from the computer. Is Microsoft Defender now managing the security for this new computer? Have you applied all available updates from Microsoft and the manufacturer?

Error 183 often occurs because the installation process is being blocked. Please see https://adobe.ly/4ftxFwb for information on how to locate the exact text of the error within the install log. Please do NOT post the entire log to the public discussion, but post the text near the FATAL ERROR within the log file. The install logs are appended after every installation, so the most recent FATAL ERROR and the critical information will be located near the end of the file.

I know this can be frustrating. If you have any other information that you can share, such as why you needed a new computer, whether any files or applications were transferred to the new computer or any other information about the setup process for the new computer, then please add them to this public Community discussion.
