Error Code: A12E5 - nothing will download

I've been trying for 3 days to download Adobe CC with no luck.  As soon as the installer begins I get the Error code: A12E5.

Thanks for the link, but it's not getting far enough in the download to have even created any type of file.

Neither of the suggested fixes on that thread helped.

  1. What browser are you using?
  2. What are the browser's Security Settings? If so, try setting those lower.
  3. Do you have any Firewalls set up? If so, try turning them off.
  4. Do you have any active, real-time scanning anti-virus, anti-malware, or anti-anything software running? If so, try turning them off.
  5. Just in case, what is the exact URL, from which you are trying to download?

Are you on a managed network? Please refer the knowledge base article: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-a12e5-installing-creative-cloud.html.

You may even try the below steps:

1. Download Build from: http://adobe.ly/1dJgILI

2. Extract the file and run the setup.exe from build to install CC desktop.
