I keep on trying to open creative cloud and getting the error code

{"error":"invalid_credentials"}

Ive tried to uninstall but it wont let me because it says that other applications require creative cloud, but when i try to uninstall those it just takes me to cc with the same error. is there a way i can fix this?

(also I have no clue what the topics mean, so I chose one i think fits, sorry if it doesnt)

Correct answer kglad

check your account, https://account.adobe.com and verify everything is what you expect.

then sign out and then back in to the cc desktop app using the same adobe id/password used to check yoru account, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html

I have the exact same issue. Despite finding a way to delete everything from adobe of my computer, even after reinstall i get the same error. The website also refuses to let me sign in without a vpn as if my ip has been blacklisted even though I have an account managed by my school which has access to adobe. I need to be able to fix this soon pls

to follow up. Ended up having to search all my drives for every single adobe file/folder, even hidden files in appdata and delete them to be able to reinstall and let me actually login

glad you got it solved, but for others, if you're trying to clear everything adobe from your computer:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer

Do you have a Personal, Individual, Subscription or is it part of an Enterprise or Teams license?

Sounds like you are trying to use a Personal Login ID with a Enterprise or Teams subscription and or Install of the apps.

Hey I used to use my enterprise license, I have left the company, I bought my personal license but now when I'm trying to login from on on CC desktop app, it's still redirecting to my enterprise page, which I don't have access to.

restart your computer and retry signing in.

if that fails, (from sheena kaul),

  • Sign out from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application (Sign in and sign out to activate Creative Cloud apps)
  • Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\ProgramData\Adobe
  • Rename the 'SLStore' folder to 'SLStore_old'
  • Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
  • Rename the 'SLCache' folder to 'SLCache_old'
  • Sign in to the Adobe CC desktop app
