Hello! I'm currently trying to install Adobe Illustrator onto a Windows laptop using Creative Cloud as a matter of urgency - there's an approaching deadline to think about. I keep running into one of two errors:

ERROR: DF024: Unable to move file // Error 32 The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process..

Try setting correct permissions to the specified file/folder or parent folder, so that admin has rights to modify it.(Seq 2)

Or

FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveDirectoryCommand' for package: 'AdobeIllustrator19-Core', version:19.2.1.147

FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobeIllustrator19-Core Version: 19.2.1.147). Error code: '146'

WARN: Failed to move directory 'C:\adobeTemp\ETR22FE.tmp\AdobeIllustrator19-Core\StagingArea_x64\Application\Plug-ins' to 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2015\Plug-ins'

Now I've scoured message boards, forums and FAQs over the last few days and haven't found anything that either a) explicitly resolves this or b) I actually understand. Can anyone please help? Getting very desperate...

Thanks!

Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

Thanks for the reply, John. When you say that, do you mean run Creative Cloud as admin? As Illustrator doesn't seem to have installed enough just yet to open anything. If so, I'm running it as an admin now with baited breath!

Still I could not solve the issue with my INSTALLATION ERROR because of these guys, when you ask them something that needs help to understand or solve it in someway, they DON'T REPLY. Whats wrong with just REPLYING to that person that has to UNDERSTAND to solve the problem? I'm done.
