Exit Code 15 - ERROR: Media DB Error : 11 on Windows 10

Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently tried to install my Creative Suite 6 on my new Windows 10 Computer.

Unfortunately, whenever I start the installation, it stops at about 2% with the Error Message Exit Code 15 as shown in the picture.Adobe_Error.JPG

So far, I have both tried the trouble shooting help on the Adobe page: Installation and launch log errors | Adobe Creative Suite 6, Adobe Creative Suite 5.5, Adobe Creativ... , including the CC Cleaner which resulted in an Error,

as well as this idea (no use since not a Mac):Exitcode 15 bei Installation | CCM, CS6

As of now, I am out of ideas to solve this problem.

Therefore I am putting this out hoping, that someone might have a solution for my problem.

If this helps, my system is an Acer Switch Alpha with a

Intel Core i5-6200

8 GB RAM

Windows 10 home 64bit

Have you installed any other Adobe apps using serial number ?

If you haven't installed any other Adobe apps , you may try renaming below mentioned folder and then try to install.,

C: >Program Files(x86) > Common Files > Adobe> Caps.

rename Caps folder to Caps-old.

Then try to install and check .

Still same ?? let us know.

Just one more question: Do I have to switch the Caps folder back to the original name?
