Fireworks MX 2004. How van I make the program to remember the serial number I have every time?

New Here ,
Dec 08, 2014 Dec 08, 2014

Every time when I start Fireworks MX 2004 I am asked to enter the serial number. How can I change this? I don't want to give every time the number. On my previous computer the program worked well, but on this new. windows8 computer I keep on struggeling with te serial number.

Anyone an idea to solve this problem?

Thanks,  Wencel

Hi There

Please check the link: Error: Unable to Activate | Macromedia products.

Additional info: Fireworks MX 2004 is now end of life, last support version for Fireworks is Fireworks CS 6.

As it was never tested on win - 8, there could be compatibility issues as well.

Thanks,

Atul Saini

Hi Atul Saini,

Thank you for the link. I already found this page before. The serial number on this list does not work.  Long time ago I bought the program Fireworks together with other programs in Macromedia Studio MX 2004. I also tried to use the serial number on the list, connected with the Studio MX 2004, but the result is still the same. Every time when the program loads, I have to give the serial number.  Is there something wrong with my version of Fireworks?

Thanks anyway for your help.

Wencel
