Fuse download NOT possible!

Hi, I have tried for days now to download Fuse. Absolutely no luck whatsoever.

This seems to be quite a general problem judging by all the posts here - I think Adobe needs to check this out prontissimo!

I had no problem updating PS, AI and ID and downloading Muse - with the very same settings as for the just mentioned apps after 14 hours of downloading there is not even 1% download showing!

In fact, after a few hours it just pretends I never even asked for a download. And this day after day!

This is unbearable!

Any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Very well in that case, the user should provide proper details like screenshot or list of files, so that it will provide clear picture, simply loosing hope will not do any good. We are investing our time and data usage for trying to help users.

Also , please excuse me I have strange habit of talking to myself , I knew I'd get reply like this , so Please take a clear look , I replied to my own post.  Brucgov to Brucgov. Sorry I have dual/Split personality.  kinda like Gollum and Smeagul.  My Precioussssss hehe

You may try downloading from Direct link if all steps fails.:

I suspect this might be issue with Downloading of setup related files on to Temp folder.

Compared to other CC apps Adobe Fuse CC setup file is huge in comparison.

The CC apps has to download compressed Zip file 3.7 GB in size , and the extract it on to same Temp folder , it will take alot of space , if the temp folder is already crowded with temporary files , I mean already acquiring GBs of Temp files , again if we initiate a new download which is large in file size defnitely the process gets stuck or sometime  it will be slow,

It is better to clear Temp folder once. You can skip the files which cannot be deleted.

CC apps work flow:

0-42% =Download

After 42% = Extraction process

43-90&  = Installation

90-100 = Update.

Thanks..but waiting for the download to complete worked.

It remained at 0% for 2 hours then suddenly it went upto 42% and then finished within seconds.

This is real bad coding..but at least I got it to work..

The asset zip files contain thousands of text files.

Update Update Update!!

Finally I found a strong Wifi  (PS :  Special Thanks to my  neighbors) and downloaded Fuse CC direct download myself .

Adobe CC 2015 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2015 Release | ProDesignTools

SO here's the trick to install Fuse CC manually on Windows computers using direct download files.

The Fuse CC direct download contains only folder named Payloads.  Create a new folder for example : Adobe FUSE cc

So here's the actual trick , download any of the CC or CS 6 application, inside you will get folder named :

Deployment .

Package

Resources

Setup.exe

In my case , I used Adobe Photoshop CS 6 extended files.

Then copy the folders I mentioned earlier of CS 6 except Payloads to Adobe Fuse CC folder which we created earlier which contains Payloads folders ( Fuse CC).

Then double click on Setup.exe it shud start installation process for FUSE CC.

Note :

Sorry I dont have Windows 7 comp now, so using Windows XP . sorry bout tat

I think one would have to agree that it is quite ridiculous the amount of trouble one has to go to in order to get Fuse onto a computer!!!

I eventually did mine with the help of an Adobe Support person (in the above method!!!!!!!!) - all in all it took 3 days.

And now that I have Fuse I find that quite a few features do NOT work!

Like exporting one's creature to Photoshop to animate it. Error after error after error.

The Fuse forum is full of complaints.

I stick to what I have said before: Adobe should have waited longer and sorted all the problems before even launching the Preview version!!!

It is a disgrace!

Hmm may be I shud start learning Fuse CC. Yep I heard about it all  , I love Errors , they are my best buddies, once my bread and butter hehe .  but not now as designer and programmer. I certainly understand how frustrating it is when designers see errors especially when they are deep inside world of Creativity.

Once I get good computer , gud enough to run Fuse CC , I am pretty excited to install it and learn. Sounds challenging  to me.

Click on More Information or Error Details option in the error message windows and provide the exact error message. or post a screenshot.
