Hey everyone,
Well, I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I don't want to do this without knowing I'm right to do so i'll just leave the question here.
I want to animate in a hobbyist way, make some doodles and make them move, just for the pleasure of doing it. There's someone on the internet who linked this page : Error, "Unable to Activate" in Macromedia legacy products claiming that since flash mx 2004 was old and the activation code was given by Adobe, it was 100% Legal to download it and install it. While I don't know if he really did install it, I don't want to be ignorent and download it while I can't you know. Since there was the thing with Adobe Photoshop CS2 being misinterpreted by people, I don't want to be outlaw...
Could you tell me if indeed Adobe did put that here for people to try older version and encourage them to buy new one after testing, or if it just for people who already have a licence?
Thank you in advance;
Best regards
Hirokimura did you previously own Flash MX 2004? If not then you are not entitled to utilize the non-activating serial number. These serial numbers were provided so that individuals who did own the software would not be affected when it was no longer possible to maintain the activation server.
I would recommend reviewing Activation server shut down for Creative Suite 2, Acrobat 7, and Macromedia products where the topic of the activation server shut down has been discussed.
