I had Adobe Acrobat X Standard installed on 2 laptops. One laptop has crashed and is no longer in use and I deleted all information on that laptop. I have recently purchased a new laptop and I am trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Standard on the new computer but I get a message telling me that the Product Key is already installed on 2 computers. However, that is incorrect because I deleted the Application on the crashed computer and it is now only on one laptop. I logged into my Personal Profile on Adobe to manage the account but it only showed 2 computers which includes the new computer. The one that crashed is not showing in my profile so I don't know why it is still saying that the Application is on 2 computers and therefore I cannot download on the new computer. I am unable to contact anyone at Adobe to assist me with this problem. Does anyone have a recommended solution for me? Please? Thank you in advance for your assistant.

Uninstalling the product is not the same as deactivating it. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to help. And Adobe's customer support can't help you either, since Adobe removed their ability to reset the activation counter some months ago...
But where are you seeing the list of activated devices, exactly? As far as I know, that's not available for your version of Acrobat, only for later ones. If you see such a list then there should be a way to deactivate all the devices there, too. Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Hi. I have a similar issue as above. I had Acrobat X Standard which was installed on 2 laptops that crashed and are dead. My online account shows that the product is not activated on any laptop, but I'm unable to install it on any new laptop. I get an error: "Activation limit reached for Acrobat X Standard". And says to: "Retry Activation. I have already deactivated one of my other computers." But retrying activation gives an error: " This serial number has already been activated on 2 computers." The errors just keep repeating. Can anyone help? Is there an actual help phone number or chat anywhere? Thanks!
