How can I download Photoshop Elements 8 on Mac with M1 chip?

Hello! Is there a way for me to use Photoshop Elements 8 on my Mac with an M1 chip? I don't find any installation updates for more recent versions of MacOS. Thanks for letting me know if this is possible.

recent mac os'es do not support 32 bit apps like pse 8

Thanks Kglad. I assume that means there was never an update for PSE 8 to 64
bit?

there's not a free update, but there are paid upgrades to the current pse version - https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/buy-elements.html

Photoshop elements didn't have a 64 bit Mac version until photoshop elements 12, but you still need the latest photoshop elements 2023 for your M1 chip Mac even tough versions 12 through 2019 were 64 bit they still relied on some 32 bit components like the installer.
