I'd like to know how much also. The link went to a site for the CC version. Can anyone tell me the price of CS 6 today, and the direct link to download a free trial? I keep getting sent to Help and god knows where but no link that says "Download Now".

The link that Peru Bob provided DOES go to Adobe's way to buy CS6... but you do have to read all the way to the bottom where you will find the telephone number

The "cost of CS6" all depends on exactly what you are buying... one program is a LOT less than the full Master Collection

So Adobe isn't giving customers an option to buy a creative suite instead of the CC package?  That seems like a deceptive move.

The phone number is: 800 915-9426, option 1,1, and 1. Here is the pricing for CS 6: Design standard 1,299; Design premium 1,899; master collection  2599. No discounts, no educational pricing.

However if you upgrade from CS 5, the prices are: Design standard 549; Design premium 749; master collection  525. Yes, that is what the salesman said, $525 for the Master Collection CS 6.

I am aware that Adobe will never update the CS versions. Like my Corolla, I want to own what I have and not pay a rental. I can only hope that Adobe will recognize this group of consumers. If not, I have CS 3,4, and 5 and I am able to publish my newsletter without upgrades. I will be left in the dust, but still productive and creative.
