how to fix failed install of extension Manager Cs6?

My update of the Adobe Extension Manager CS 6 failed to install. There is no error code just failed to install. There is nothing on the page to show how to fix failure to install. Please advise!

I have a similar problem.  Every time I try to download Extension Manager 6.0.6 Update it fails, with error code U44M1P7.  How do I fix this?

I found that one has to sign out of the creative cloud completely and then re-run the update. After relaunch the creative cloud connection.
