I believe I've been scammed by a "reseller" with a crack. Need prof this is in fact a crack.

He promised me a licence for Lightroom 6 but sent me a "amtlib.dll" file to replace on a trial copy.

I'm sure this is a crack and that I've been scammed, but to claim my refund to the store (it's an eBay like store with refund in case of fraud) I need an official answer. Is there ANY circumstance where replacing the file "amtlib.dll" is a valid form of licencing?

Thanks.

Dancovich,

You should have received a serial number which is a 24 digit code to activate a product. You may also get redemption code which will again lead you to a serial number(24 digit code) to activate product. In any give case a .dll file shouldn't  to be replaced.

You may report this incident on: Reporting - Add tip and check: Pirated software | Adobe Anti-piracy.

Hope this helps.
