Hi,

I have a PC and I'm trying to download Photoshop. It says portions of it have been downloaded, but the overall installation isn't working. I'm supposed to do homework on it but I can't do it without Photoshop. Any takers?

It might best if you could check and tell us the error messages in full. There may be important details there.

Installation completed through some optional components failed to install correctly.

And then I hit More Info:

Thanks for posting those details. They focus on one particular problem. I suggest you start by following the instructions in the message - double click on the file it mentions. If that doesn't help you can try downloading a replacement from Microsoft, but let us know if the file you have seems to run without error.

Once the Microsoft thing is installed, Photoshop installer will not try again and it will either finish or lurch to the next problem.
