Hi everybody,

i'm trying to install Photoshop CS2 with the license number given on adobe site (it's a free license for it is an old version of photoshop and my license is not activable any more).

I've followed all the given step, but when i launch the programme i get the message "Your adobe photoshop username, organization or serial # is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue & must now exit".

My OS is Windows 8.1 64 bit.

I'm connecting to internet through a server and a physical firewall, but this shouldnt be an issue for i'm using other adobe products (adobe acrobat XI Pro) and it gave me no problems for activating the license.

Can anyone help me?

I've seen the topic is already present on the forum (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1837466?q=your%20adobe%20photoshop%20user%20name,) but it gives no indications to bypass the problem.

Thanks

Federica

i've tried, bu no changes... (i'm using administrative privileges)

During the installation i've given the path C:\Programs\Adobe because the installer didn't let me use C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe; now i've verified that the path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Photoshop.exe.

Could it be a problem? Shall i try to install on the root?
