I went through installation, but the program isn't showing up on my computer.

     I'm trying to get Photoshop onto my Windows 8 laptop. I have the Creative Cloud app installed and that didn't give me any trouble. Now, I'm trying to install Photoshop. I've gone through and downloaded it. It shows up in my apps on the Creative Cloud app but it is nowhere to be found on my computer. I do have a slow internet connection where I'm currently at, but it shows that I have photoshop installed already. What can I do to access the program from here?

I fixed this issue by:

1. going into control panel - add / remove programs
2. found acrobat and uninstalled it
3. as administrator, started the Adobe Creative Cloud App, Acrobat was no longer showing as installed
4. clicked on "Try" next to Acrobat
5. it downloaded (took more than 20 minutes) and installed and the icon immediately appeared on my desktop
6. it launched fine.

Just wanted to make sure, in case someone else runs into this. I think that Acrobat originally just hadn't finished downloading at the time of deployment.
