Trying to install Illustrator on my Apple and when clicking on installation folder I get this message:

“Illustrator Installer.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information."

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thank you all for replying. I googled a bit about it and found following solution which worked:

Select "Security & Privacy" from the "System Preferences" window.
Select the "General" tab, and select the lock in the lower left corner to allow changes.
Enter your computer username and password, then select "Unlock."
In the "Allow apps downloaded from:" section, select the radio button to the left of "Anywhere."

Sounds like an old version being installed on Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. Is it? If so, you need to get up to date.

Hi Emilia,

Sorry for the trouble. Did you test the issue after uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud desktop application?

Let us know.
