I've subscribed and installed Creative Cloud on my windows7, to try Edge Animate CC, I click "install" on the Creative Cloud list of available adobe programs to test or install, the install stops at 42% with an error message, asking me to restart, which I do, and same thing happens over and over again.
help welcome, thanks

Also check to see if you have Firewall application running. If so disable it for 10/15 minutes, then reinstall while it is disabled.

same thing,
I've tried the CS cleaner tool, but as edge animate is not installed there's nothing to "clean".
I give up, I tried yesterday for hours.
Thanks for your suggestion though!

Cjoss2001 have you confirmed that you do not have an entry for Edge Animate in the Programs & Features control panel?

Cjoss2001 the common cause for Edge related installation concerns is if the applications were manually removed.  If you have checked Programs & Features and it is no longer listed then we will need additional information.

I would recommend for the next step that you review the installation log files for error messages.  For information on how to locate and interpret the installation log files please see Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  Please feel free to post any specific errors you discover in the installation logs.
