Install location not working??

In preferences you can change the default install location for apps if you have not a lot of space on your C drive like i do and you can change this to an alternate disklocation like D:\adobe\

Why is this function not working??

It keeps installing all the apps on the C drive!

I tried to reinstall the CC application, deiinstall all adobe apps. run the adobe cleanup tool, looked for a registry key that may help to figure out where the install location can be edited me but nothing helps!

It took serveral hours to find a solution without any progress.

Someone please??

Aren't you getting the option under Prefrences>> Apps and Change location in Creative cloud app?

Is it greyed out? Please post a screenshot if possible.

No, it isn't grayed out :

If the software's are already installed then the location will not change after changing the location here.

You would need to install all the products after changing the location.

I am having the issue where when I go into Preferences>> Apps >> Settings >> Change Location is greyed out and I can't type anything into the box. I've attached a screen shot.
