I purchase a subscription to Acrobat Pro this week on a work desktop computer. Now I am trying to download Acrobat Pro on a personal laptop conputer and it asks me to start a trial or purchase.

check your account to verify your subscription is what you expect and to verify your adobe id, https://accounts.adobe.com
then if that shows your subscription, sighn out and then back in to cc desktop app using the same id as used to confirm your subscription.
