I know what you mean, I've tried a number of times, but it seems that you can buy Lightroom 6, but not download a trial.
You would have thought that they would be better prepared for this !
I am not interested in a creative cloud membership.

I am wondering the same thing. I have LR4.4 and want to upgrade to LR6. I can't find where to do it.....or if it is possible.
