Aodbe support sent me here as they "don't support that product anymore".

I downloaded the install file from my account and installed on a new laptop after deactivating the old install. When I try to sign in it gives me this error:

Try again later

For security reasons your access was temporarily disabled.
For more details contact Adobe Customer Support

Product shows in my account but no devices activated. (There are/were two, desktop and laptop. I assume there are now just one since I deactivated the older laptop. Any help is appreciated.

you uninstalled, cleaned, removed licensing data?

if so, start the install process.

I have one more ace up my sleeve.  Let's see if it works.

With view hidden files & folders enabled in Windows File Explorer, go to

C:\Users\[your name]\App Data\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe PCD.

Rename the Adobe PCD folder to old_Adobe PCD.

Restart your computer. That should disable the old cached files on your system.

Hope it works for you. Good luck!

Unable to comply, the folder does not exist.

Also a reminder that this is a fresh build, nothing but Windows when I got it.

The install has me back where I was, needing to sign in inside of 7 days. It's like as if CC is managing my CS6.

That doesn't explain why my account does not show my active devices and the software as registered.

If I was not in the middle of a project and now having lost one of my installs I might try to register it. In another post for a slightly different activation issue the talk was about a corrupted activation count needing to be reset. I wonder if that may be true here.

Screenshot in previous post shows that it is registered in my account. I have moved this once before a few years back, between desktops.

I will try to connect with support again to find out why no devices show as activated. Although I have deactivated the one on my laptop for this move, clearly I still have a working copy on my desktop.

Is there anything stored on the old laptop or PC that would offer a clue to the account (if it is different from this one)?

I still get confirmations and login validations through my .edu address. The account is under my address though and the edu address is listed as a validated alternate address. I did attempt to sign in with both emails.

your screenshot shows cs6 (and cs4) were registered, but doesn't show it's registered to whatever account you're checking.

no, there's nothing  (that i know of) on your computer that would show the account.  you could recover the serial number, but i don't think the account will be shown.

\if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer,

I can't imagine I have another account. This has been it since the late 90's. I used it when I moved this copy of CS6 from one desktop to my current one 5 years ago or so I believe.

6-18-2015 seems to be the predominent file date. Wow, time flies.
