Hi Everyone,
When I try to open any of my Adobe apps in my Master Collection subscription, I get an Adobe Dialog box essentially telling me that Adobe can't activate the product becuase of my internet connect. I am definitely online and have tried several tests including:
- restarting computer
- turning off wifi and pluging in an ethernet cord
- restarting computer again
Each time I am definitely online via multiple browsers.
It really sucks that Adobe does not offer phone support (for Activation, nor Tech Support) on Saturdays and Sundays, and of course today is Saturday!
I tried their live chat, but the Adobe rep chatting with me eventually told me that they are not "technically trained" and to call the phone support, which isn't available until Monday. What a joke!
I was just using multiple apps in my Adobe subscription yesterday with no issues at all (and have had no issues since I started the subscription weeks ago).
Any ideas of what I can do would be very much appreciated! I was planning on designing a bunch of things this weekend!!!
Thanks!

Try these steps:
1) change the system clock to Pacifc standard time, and then check
2) navigate to the folder:-
Windows:--c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
MAC :-- in the finder, click on the "GO" in the menu bar and then select "Go to folder", in the dialog box type "/etc"
in the etc folder , you will find the host file , move this file on the desktop and then check, please note sometie when you move the file then the copy remains in the folder, hence make sure when you move the copy should not remian in the etc folder.
and do specify the opearting system and the exact error message.

Thank you for the info Manish_1988! However, the system is already on Pacific Time. And I don't have a "Host" file in the "etc" folder. I have these files:
hostconfig
hostconfig~orig
hosts
hosts.equiv
hosts~orig
I am on a Mac running Lion (v10.7.3).
I tried to move the "hosts" file to the desktop (and it made a copy so I trashed the one that was still in the etc folder) - and this didn't work.
Any additional ideas would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!
