after downloading photoshop cs5.1 i cant open it. get a message that it is damaged or incomplete. what do i do? its payed for online

KatrineLouis I would recommend removing Photoshop and reinstalling.  You can find the uninstaller inside your Utilities folder and the Adpbe Installers folder.

I would recommend try downloading again.  Perhaps try using a different web browser?  You can also choose the alternate download option instead of utilizing the Akamai download manager.

with the direct/alternate download I get the same message "damaged or incomplete" and a round sign with a line through it for the photoshop symbol.

I have bought the download version of photoshop cs5 and dreamweaver cs5. Dreamweaver worked fine but photoshop downloads but I cant launch it. Same thing happened when I tried the test version.

I also get this message when trying to download: "already installed", this didnt happen when downloading dreamweaver.
