Most use here do not work for Adobe.  How did you upgrade to Windows 10.  did you start fresh format you disk the install Windows 10 then install  all your applications. Or upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 where the upgrade kept your applications installed.  If you upgraded I would have thought CS5 should start OK.   I have never seen a CS5 subscription mentioned  before this. Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription started in the CS6 timeframe  Prior versions of Photoshop were always licensed versions of Photoshop.

If you have your CS5 serial II thing you should download Adobe Cleaner to get rid of any traces of CS5.  Then install CS5 see if It takes your serial. If you did not format you disk to install Windows 10.  You CS5 credentials mate still be intact and you will no need to enter your serial.

If You doe not have your serial you should be able to get that from you Adobe Account.

Find your Adobe product serial number quickly

CS5 installer can be downloaded here Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

Thank you for the reply. I received the message from windows to freely upgrade my windows 7 to 10 which I accidentally upgraded it as I was not aware this caused me a problem of losing my Photoshop CS5. As it stands, I can't even install the Photoshop CS5 anymore. However, I tried to install Photoshop CS6 which was unsuccessful though. The serial number I have it is alright for the CS5, somehow the entire program is corrupted.

If you know any other way to reuse the CS5, please inform me at your earliest convenient time.

Kind regards,

Ali Reza

Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Clean out Adobe software then install CS5

Cloud & Win10 https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/Windows_10_compatibility_FAQ.html

-also, only CURRENT products will be tested and updated for compatibility with Windows 10

-so if you have an older program, you update to Windows 10 at YOUR risk of problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10... works for some, not for others

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)
