Problem with product key and version of Element to install CS5

I bought a Wacom Intuos4 tablet and downloaded the version of Photoshop that was included with it; Adope Photoshop Element 9.0. Two weeks later, I bought Adobe Photoshop CS5, the 50% deal on the Wacom site for 313$ and discovered that I can't use it if I don't have the version 8.0 or under of Photoshop Element. I have the key for the 9.0 version, but not for the 8.0 and it prevents me to install the CS5 (for which I have the key and paid for.)

I'm very disappointed because I need the software and paid for it.

What should I do?

If I get your question right, you are unable to install Photoshop CS5 because you dont't have a lesser version of Photoshop Elements on your computer. I don't think there is any dependency between the two applications. Can you provide more details about what happens and any error messages you encounter when trying to install Photoshop CS5?

OneMarie do you have any additional details about the offer you accepted from Wacom?  Have you contacted Wacom at all regarding the requirements which might be needed to install the copy of Photoshop they sold you?
