Hey guys,
I am trying to put an After Effect file in my Premiere Pro. I used to be able to bypass this by actually starting up After Effect and then the file would pull up. However, after I updated my Premiere Pro, I am not having any luck.
* I tried to update the After Effect program itself and its giving me an error:
Exit Code: 146
-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s)
FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveDirectoryCommand' for package: 'AdobeCharacterAnimatorPreview4AllTrial', version:1.0.4.184
FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobeCharacterAnimatorPreview4AllTrial Version: 1.0.4.184). Error code: '146'
WARN: Failed to move directory 'C:\adobeTemp\ETRF86F.tmp\1\universal\Support Files' to 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Character Animator (Preview 4)\Support Files'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am thinking about re-installing the software, but I want to do that as a last resort (I haven't needed to do that sort of action before and a bit uncomfortable about what I could lose - most of my After Effects files are on an external hard drive).
Most of my learning and troubleshooting has been through YouTube with the exception of the one time I came on here with another issue (which is something to do with the limited capabilities of my computer).
Anyway, the YouTube suggestions have not been successful. Any solutions? Many thanks!
