Re-install Production Premium CS6 on a new laptop

Hello!

In the install procedure I was asked to activate CS6. I have the CD and serial number. Bought this educational licence via the college where I was formerly a teacher. But I can no longer log in with the expired mail address.
I have 2 other Adobe accounts, made in later years for other Adobe products.  But I can't see there the CS6-purchase data of course.

So my first question is: how can I re-activate CS6?

And second, eventually: exists an european telephone number for customer support? I live in the Netherlands, but see only US-numbers like (800) 685-3644.
I 'm grateful for helping answers!

there's no support for cs6 so if you manage to contact adobe support, expect no help.

 

what problem do you see when starting the install and then the activation?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Indeed I read the same as what you wrote about support, so that will be true I'm afraid.
And after installation I saw the message about activation, but also the possibility to do that later, so I waited. But on the first start, I saw I had a trial period of 10 days (I use it since 2012.....)
But the real problem first is what I wrote: support in finding my old account. But that won't be succesful.

Did you deactivate any old installations?

How many installations and activations have you used?

 

If you used two activations and didn't deactivate, it would be a moot point to try to activate without deactivating at least one of the activations.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Oh, I re-installed it since 2012 so many times, on several computers and laptops, without any questions about reactivation.
But probably the policy of Adobe has changed....

CS6 is 13-year-old software that predates most modern operating systems.  It's way beyond its 'replace me' date.

 

1. Did you deactivate Creative Suite from your previously installed devices first?
That's critically important because your individual license has a strict 2 time activation limit. Remote deactivation of Creative Suite is not possible. It's too old.

If the old devices are dead or no longer in your possession, you're stuck. You won't be allowed to activate CS on another device.
