Renewal/Cancelation policy unfair

New Here ,
Apr 01, 2017 Apr 01, 2017

I just found out that my fees increased by $10 a month while looking at my cc statement. I did not receive any request for renewal or rate increase as per your policy"Renewal rates are subject to change, but we’ll always notify you beforehand. "

When I contacted Adobe to cancel they said it was more than 14 days(28 days) and would cost me $180 to cancel. This is a crazy policy that really takes advantage of students/teachers. To auto renew without any consent at the renewal time is very deceptive and then to say you are going to charge a $180 fee for cancellation??? Is this really how adobe treats teachers/students

When you buy an Education subscription, the terms you "click to agree" should be clear about the first/later years

Did you read the Subscription Terms https://www.adobe.com/misc/subscription_terms.html

i don't think your rates changed.  the first year and subsequent year rates were the same last year as this year.
