Is there a timeframe for meta description changes to be updated for google? eg I have gone into settings... search optimization....and changed website title and meta description, then 'update live site'. But when I google my website, nothing has changed.

Which Adobe application are you asking about?

This is the poorly named Community Help forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums).
Please tell us what Adobe software you are using so that this can be moved to the proper forum for help.

Thanks John Smith, but I have looked through support FAQ and it seems it may be a glich with just my account, as the help section says it will be updated immediately, but sadly thats not true for me.

Hey Catherine, did you ever figure this out? I'm running into the same issue.

Hi. Yes I'm getting there. I contacted Adobe Portfolio help and they said it was due to Google not indexing the site as all the changes had been made immediately at their end. So I have verified my site with a google Search Console, which apparently brings the website to Googles attention. Some changes have now come through when I search for my site, but not all. There are other processes I can go through with Google but I'm away and don't have my computer with me. Sorry I can't be more specific with links for you but I deleted the original help answer from adobe and this is so out of my area!!!

Thanks for the reply 🙂 Glad to hear you've gotten it somewhat sorted now. And no problem, hopefully it'll just correct itself soon!
