Serial number won't work reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Pro X

I purchased CS6 Design and Web Premium which includes Adobe Acrobat Pro X. I've had continuing problems using Acrobat, so I decided to reinstall it. I was able to download it, but when I enter my serial number it tells me it's invalid. I'm copying it from my Adobe account, so the number is accurate. I've entered it with the dashes and without the dashes - neither one works. I need help getting this installed and working.

Hi pgill03,

Could you provide a picture of the error message? Also if you could let me know if you downloaded the Acrobat X Pro from Adobe.com as a trial or from your order history page.

I downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html. I did not see anywhere to download it from my My Products page.
