So I have premiere pro cc 2017... expired today (found out when it crashed as I was saving a project I spent about 4 hours on, I'm praying the 'we will try to save your project' works when I can finally open the software), so I get a new 1 year subscription. Wait 20 mins etc, update premiere pro cc 2017 and media encoder cc 2017... media encoder opens and runs fine.
However, when I try to open premiere pro cc 2017, it tells me to sign in, then goes to the 'continue to enjoy your software', and when I hit 'continue', it brings up the sign in box, and just repeats the whole process over and over.
I've signed out, closed everything in the tray, and went and pulled some teeth with a person on live chat who I assume was watching tv at the same time... anyone have any idea what the issue is?
don't worry, I cancelled. Life is way too short to have to hunt around for support, and have to rely on unpaid volunteers who no doubt have better things to do. Off to sony vegas.

to add: I see premiere pro fine in my plans and apps menu, been over an hour now, and I *really* don't want to uninstall and definitely lose my work from earlier if I can help it, opn the off chance that the project was saved before I had to 'close this program' after it crashed
