Slow Ring Needed for Updates

Any chance we can have the option to be in a "slow ring" for Adobe updates? I really don't need to have my applications updated daily - during which time 100% of the network connectivity is hogged by Adobe updater. Once a month would be fine thanks. There hasn't really been an update since CS3 that I really care about anyway - how many ways do you need to make a poor automatic selection?

Either that, or make it so that the updater doesn't grind everything else to a stop when it decides it is the single most important thing running. Then I could turn on automatic updates and ignore it altogether.

Just turn off automatic updates and run them when you want.

Adobe exist in a world where everyone has super fast, unmetered, internet 24/7. It seems literally impossible that they can conceive that anyone wants or needs to use less internet. But I agree with Lumigraphics - why are you updating at all? I like my CC2017 apps and have no reason to update, and many reasons not to.
