[SOLUTION] Adobe CC Desktop updater quits without any error message

If the CC Desktop installer systematically fails on your Windows system when installing a new version, you might be interested in this thread :

The fix proposed at the end of the thread not only worked for me and others but also explains when exactly the failure occurs. This should help the developers fixing this long lasting bug.

Hi,

Please note that the described fix is not something that I really want to do forever each time an update for CC Desktop is released. The real solution is to fix the bug. I wish that this will not only help other users but above all, help the developers fix this annoying issue that is bothering us since years and about which nobody seems to care at Adobe. The installation/update problems with Adobe CC are a plague since the beginning and it's now time to invent something more stable.
