Yes. Both programs can be installed at the same time.

they just won't run at the same time on Windows machines (I'm not 100% on if Macs can run them concurrently, but both can be installed at the same time).

Thanks.

But it seems that I cannot install the « Trial version”, according to your customer service.

I had installed (this morning) Dreamweaver CC.

When I noticed that it was the FRENCH version, I uninstalled it.

And I am unable to install it again.

They tell me “that is it”. Your trial is over!!!!

Is there really nothing that can be done to “enable me” to install the trial version, a second time, the SAME DAY?

A reset to the registry or something?

Thanks for your support.

This is a user to user forum, Im not an Adobe employee. I'm just a software user like you (and most of the people here), who likes to break up his day by visiting the forums.

I'm not sure how the DW trial info is stored on your machine, but I would try uninstalling and running the cleaner tool here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html then reinstall and then try installing it again.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure if there is a way to do what you are attempting.

Nice of you to take the time to write back.

So I will tell you what the people at “Adobe support” told me, for your information.

I was told to “uninstall” then run the cleaner tool.

(As you have indicated)

Then, I was told that “Uninstalling” had canceled my right to the trial version!

Nothing could be done to reset the info in the registry.

Either 1 day or 30, my trial was over!

My only option was to buy an annual plan and ask for a refund before 30 days.

They would refund the payment made.

Beware that the “cleaner tool has one option, combined, for Dreamweaver CC and CS6.

So use with caution, unless you agree to reinstall everything (CS6 incl.).

You do have another option, and that is to try the trial version on a different computer. So, if you have a laptop, you could run it on that.

The restrictions on trial versions are tough, particularly if you accidentally install the wrong version like you did. But they're enforced rigidly to try to prevent people constantly deleting registry settings and just using the program for free.

Hi scimtl,

I regret the inconvenience. I am moving your post to the Downloading Installing and Setting up forum to check if there are any other solutions other than what David already provided.

Thanks,

Preran
