Actually, the new app appears to be a simple basic Windows app encapsulating a browser component that is pointing to https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop . The same thing with two different packagings. So, there's no new app but merely the removal of the old CC Desktop. Buggy as it was, I will not regret it.

Hello Samoreen.
As you said, the UI is the same as the Web.
I tried putting both Web and App side by side.
The app is slightly different from being notified of an update or being able to select a previous version, but it looks exactly the same.
And this new app takes up too much space on your desktop.
It is inconvenient especially when using with a notebook PC that the width does not shrink any more. The state of this image is the state with the smallest width.

What is disconcerting is that on the one hand we have Photoshop, the Mother of All Applications, that works like a Mack truck or a Rolex. Then; the silly, useless, tricky, redundant (on & on) CC app just irritated. If I were superstitious I'd pray that the people who work on the CC app are not allowed near the facility in which Photoshop is designed - just keep that group away! It was bad icon design, poor ergonomics, every aspect of it was funky right down to the irritating flying birds that indicated nothing. This update is at least more coherent looking. I agree this is no improvement. Some pack of workers is putting a real piece of junk past some committee, probably sales.

Hello.
To be sure, looking at the similarities to websites, the UI may have changed drastically because we came to refer to websites.
The app's capacity is significantly smaller than the previous version, but has it been slimmed so that the UI doesn't have it on the app side?
