Trying Creative Cloud - Photoshop CS6 asking for a serial number?

I am trying out Creative Cloud and have previously used trial version of Photoshop CS6 Extended.  Have downloaded Photoshop CS6 via creative cloud but when try to run it I get a message that I must enter a serial number.  Can anyone help ?

There is nothing you can do. You cannot have two trial periods of the same product. If your PS is already expired, then using teh CCM trial won't revivie it until you actualyl bought the product.

Thanks for that, so if I just join creative cloud and pay now then the problem will be resolved?

Yepp, once you join all the products will serialize/ activate based on the Adobe ID provided in the application manager.

Hello

Okay I am getting very panicky now as I have joined creative cloud and submitted payment and spent the whole morning waiting for it to download photoshop CS6 and it still comes up with 'enter serial number' - I have a project to finish today which isn't helping. As far as I am aware I have uninstalled the trial version I had installed.  Is there anything I am missing or that I could check - I am using a macbook pro - any help will be very greatfully received, this is not a great start to my 12 month contract!

Are you entering the Adobe ID tied to your subscription?  You can verify your subscription status under the My Adobe section on http://www.adobe.com/.
