trying to install elements 11 on a newer MacBook?

Im trying to install elements 11 onto a macbook pro i just bought and the disk wont let me install it? How do i need to install it?

I assume that's a new MacBook Pro with an Apple M1 chip running macOS Monterey. There's no way of installing Elements 11 due to the M1 chip and changes made by Apple to the operating system.

 

You'll have to upgrade to Elements 2022 which will run with Rosetta 2 (a feature which is part of the operating system).
