Unable to download photoshop camera raw update

keep getting this error  Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 Update
  There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

Dale Powell do you receive any specific error messages when trying to download the update?

no error message.  When I try to update CS5 it starts download and then comes back with there was an error downloading this update.  Please quit and try again later.

I have been trying this for 3 days.

I was able to download the updates manually.

The update function stopped working when I went to windows 8

I disabled my norton and I made sure i have administrator privilges.

Still unable to use update feature in CS5

Islanddogphotos when you upgraded to Windows 8 did you remove and reinstall Creative Suite 5?  What operating system did you upgrade from?

My old computer died, so I had to install CS5 on New Windows 8 machine.  Old machine was windows 7

Old machine windows 7 the hard drive died.  So did not remove from from old dead machine

It sounds like you have a fairly clean installation then Islanddogphotos.  All of the updates for CS5 are available via direct downloads.  You can find the updates at Product updates.  In specific you can find the download for the Camera RAW update at Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows.

Finally Camera RAW 6.7 is the last version of Camera RAW compatible with Photoshop CS5.  You can find additional details at Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications.
