I have my Adobe Photoshop backed on a external hard drive. My 2011 MacBook Pro computer recently died and I bought a new 2015 MacBook Pro. I went to open my Photoshop Elements 10 from my external hard drive and it won't open. I get a code error: 6. I can not find my old CD which supposedly has the product registration number on it, but did find the original box and everything else it came with. How can I get my stored software open from my external hard drive? HELP!

The issue is I can't find my registration number as it is on the sleeve of the CD that I have misplaced and I don't want to buy it again. I have everything else, original box, and everything in it (of course). So, the question is can I somehow open the file on my back-up hard drive? Not sure what the code error: 6 is.
