Is it really the case that Creative Cloud can't be uninstalled without a separately downloaded tool?
When I try to uninstall it says I have apps that need it and refuses to uninstall. But nothing shows up as installed in Creative Cloud. I've tried killing all CC processes I can find, but I get the same message.
Searching the forums recommends the separate download plus a cleaner tool (seems a longstanding thing).
But I'm a bit astounded that this would be the case. Am I misunderstanding?
Thanks

The Windows Settings/Apps gives me an 'Uninstall' option. (Mac Finder would drag an application to 'Trash')
Not sure why you would want to uninstall. Are you abandoning Adobe completely?

When I click uninstall it asks if I'm sure, then pops up an error that there are still applications installed that need creative cloud. I have no creative cloud apps installed.
As for why, I just want to remove it from that PC.

Yes, it seems stupid to install one program to un-install another, but the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool searches all the 'nooks and cranies' of your system to un-install everything related to the programs you select to uninstall. (I have not used it for several years, so no recent knowledge) Refer the article-

Download the Cleaner Tool - I think you will be satisfied it does the job you want. (then un-install the Cleaner 🙂 )
